NEW! Splash Paddlers Ages: Three years to Kindergarten
Four progressive levels will be instructed from basic water adjustment to developing swim strokes. Developed for preschool through kindergarten age, your child will enjoy swimming using appropriate techniques and game geared toward developing skills, while emphasizing water safety. In order to pass on to Splash Level Lessons, the child must be 6 years old and entering first grade or by permission from the aquatic supervisor.

Designed to enhance and improve swimming strokes in a fun, non-competitive environment. Practice includes 45 minutes of water coaching and 5 minutes of dry land warm ups. All four competitive strokes will be concentrated on, along with personal goals.
Prerequisites: participants must be able to swim 50 yards continuous swim (2 lengths of the pool) one of the competitive strokes. Participants of Splash City’s group lessons must be level Green or higher.

Private Swim Lessons For children and adults
Exercise, learn new techniques, or learn the strokes necessary for quality swimming in a one-on-one educational setting. Serious learning and serious fun! If you know family or friends who would like to take semi or multi private lessons together we can arrange an instructor. You must know the other party in order to schedule the semi or multi private lessons. If the participant is a season pass holder, they will receive $1 off per private lesson. Each participant must be a season pass holder to receive the discount.

Junior Lifeguard Program Ages 11-14
Too young to be a lifeguard? Become part of our Illinois Park and Recreation Award winning Junior Lifeguard Program. The participants will receive instruction in water safety, public relations, facility operations, water exercise, teamwork, leadership skills, basic work skill, first aid and CPR. You will even get to wear a lifeguard pack, whistle and visor as well as shadowing the Splash City Lifeguard Staff. Upon successfully completing the course participant will receive and certificate and a T-shirt. Please provide your child with a swim suit and lunch for each day.
