Lifeguards
Starting salary: $8.25-$11 an hour.
Flexible hours (20-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: At least 16 years old. Must be at least 54 inches tall, able to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to four hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Lifeguard license, first aid and CPR certification required before season begins. Certification can be gained through Splash City. Employment can not be provided without certification.
Lifeguards oversee the safety of all guests and enhance their enjoyment of the facilities through constant supervision, consistent rule enforcement, friendly service a helpful attitude, and, when necessary, performing rescues.
Guest Services
Starting salary: $8.25-$9 an hour. (Guest Services Lead starting salary at $10 per hour)
Flexible hours (15-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and prior organized and/or administrative experience. Must be at least 18 years old, be bondable, able to see and hear guests and staff, have basic computer knowledge, be able to count money and fill out cash reports. Able to lift 40 pounds to chest height and able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must have excellent communication and organizations skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency.
Guest Services staff ensure the efficient operation of parties, group reservations and private rentals by serving as host/hostess to guests, organizing programs, processing transactions efficiently, keeping records, answering telephones and disseminating information. Additional duties may include visiting local businesses to promote Splash City.
Learn to Swim (LTS) Instructor

Minimum qualifications: At least 16 years old. At least 54 inches tall, ability to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to two hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency.
Must be enthusiastic and great with kids and adults. Classes consist of group and private lessons with children as young as 3 years old.
Cashiers
Starting salary: $8.25-$9 an hour
Flexible hours (15-40 a week) include evenings and weekends
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and prior experience. At least 18 years old, be bondable, able to see and hear guests and staff, have computer knowledge and ability, be able to accurately count money and fill out reports. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency.
Cashiers quickly and efficiently process sales, serve as a resource to guests, answer telephones and disseminate information.
Quality Assurance Team (Maintenance)
Starting salary: $8.25-$10.50 an hour
Hours will vary as scheduled (20-40 a week)
Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, able to work independently with minimal supervision, capable of lifting 50 pounds to shoulder height, able to bend to the floor and reach/lift overhead.

Splash City Aqua Aerobics Instructor
Water Aerobics Instructor needed June 1 – August 11, 2010 for Monday and Wednesday classes, both AM and PM times
Salary Range: $11 to $15.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications)
Qualifications: At least one year experience leading fitness or aquatic fitness classes. Must hold current certification as an aerobics instructor (AEA, ACE, AFAA) Must hold current CPR/AED and standard First Aid Certifications. General knowledge of exercise training and leadership, including basic anatomy, physiology, and exercise principles.
Description: Under the direct supervision of the Aquatic Supervisor, provides water aerobics instruction; monitors and educates patrons on fitness and safety; maintains a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants.
Duties: Prepares a comprehensive set of lesson plans and teaches scheduled classes beginning and ending on time; provides adequate warm up, exercise, stretching and cool down. Instructs patrons on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques; demonstrates exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles. Prepares appropriate equipment, music and handouts for each class. Assists patrons, answers questions, and maintains a positive exercise experience for members and class participants. Keeps management informed of pool activities, facility needs and specific problems. Ensures that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to. Performs related duties as required.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required: Physically fit in order to demonstrate all phases of aerobic exercises. Mentally alert to recognize potential hazards and accidents. Able to hear and follow the beat of the music and have visual ability to observe class participants during workout. Able to vocalize cues and use equipment properly. Physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies and administer.
